At Carmtek, we stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of our products with a limited lifetime warranty.* This warranty is valid only for eligible Carmtek products purchased through Amazon.com and applies exclusively to the original owner. Proof of purchase (Order ID) is required for all warranty claims.

CARMTEK provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering defects in materials, internal electronics, and workmanship within the unit housing.  Any damage to the outside of the unit is not covered.

CARMTEK does not provide any implied warranties, including guarantees that the product will meet general expectations or specific needs, unless stated in this warranty.

What’s Covered:

• Defects in workmanship

• Defects in internal electronic components

• Defects in materials contained within the unit housing

​

What’s Not Covered:

• External damage to the unit, typically caused by poor connections between your RV and the       SSP unit or power cords

• Labor or shipping costs associated with repair or replacement

• Products used outside RV applications

• Units installed or used in systems incompatible with RV surge protectors

• Improper use, including:

• Not disconnecting the unit before leaving a power source

• Plugging into dirty, loose, or damaged power connections

• Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions

• Damage due to poorly maintained power sources, cords, or adapters

• Use of unauthorized replacement parts or accessories

• Unauthorized modifications or repairs

• Damage due to Acts of God or natural disasters, including but not limited to:

  • Lightning

  • Floods

  • Earthquakes

  • Hurricanes

All warranty claims require proof of purchase and are subject to review by our warranty department.

*Certain limitations apply. Cosmetic damage and excessive wear and tear are not covered. What constitutes “excessive wear and tear” is determined solely by the Carmtek warranty team.
